Put us in a room only to knock a little later and move us to a room that looked like it hadn't been occupied or looked at in months with dust and cob webs etc. High priced and in person(even as a local) they try to make the prices higher and in different currency”

“Barbara was an excellent host, the property and surrounding area are quite peaceful, while only being a short drive from the main road. Winifred Beach (perhaps one of the best beaches in the island, keep it public) is about a 7 minute drive down a (pretty bad) side road a couple blocks over. The room was great for what I needed, a place to relax and sleep after a long day of driving. There wasn't an AC but it was cool enough that the fan was more than sufficient. Very impressed with his quick responses to questions, before arrival and during our stay Although the property is being upgraded, hence we had a few little hiccups. But overall, loved the ambiance. What I didn’t like was the fact that to get there, the drive up to the house was very steep and if you don’t know how to handle the drive, it’s problematic. The second thing I didn’t like was that while the property boasted about having a pool, it was only when me and my family arrived we were informed that the pool wasn’t working due to not filtering properly.
