The farmhouse was exactly what we wanted, in the middle of fields with local amenities approx 4 miles away. Peace and quiet for the week which was exactly what we needed. This was our 4th visit to Meadowgreen . Were already booked for number 5 . From the welcome pack to the cleanliness to the amenities etc . This place is one of the best holiday cottages we've visited over the years . We've been talking these types of holidays for 20 years and this is up there with the best . Excellent base for exploring the Angus glens, the coastline and the rivers and lochs of the agricultural zone. Lovely farmhouse accommodation, well equipped and with wonderful views. We have stayed in many self catering cottages throughout the UK, all of which have been of a very high standard, but Meadowgreen Farmhouse was our best yet. The location was perfect - quiet and private, the downstairs bedroom was ideal for one of our party who was unable to manage the stairs, the property was clean, well equipped, with a modern kitchen. The wi-fi was reliable, the seating area was comfortable and there was room for us all to spread out.
