“location was hard to find as you have to use the location given in Expedia. Place was in a nice quiet location. Areas of improvement: sink water was running very very very slowly. Need sink replaced. Toilet would run more often on the second/third day and having to manually hold the stopper down was too much. WiFi was spotty which could have been due to the location. Scenery was beautiful, management was responsive and helpful. Parking is also scarce. I would book again as a 5:6:7th option for……

“I enjoyed my stay at Ellen Bay Inn. The staff were great and very accommodating. Feels like a family atmosphere. I think the only disadvantage (or could be an advantage in some cases) is it feels a bit “of the beaten path.” It would be challenging to get around with wheels but the staff offered me fairly priced transportation when I didn’t have a rental. Stingray city is within walking distance so that’s an option too. ”

“It was a short drive from the airport. Vhecking was easy and the person at the check hut was great and helpful. Great view of the beach and a short walk across the beach to resturant. I enjiyed my overnight stay, the place was clean”

A short walk (500 yards) up a steep hill from the main strip in English Harbour provides amazing views of Nelson’s dockyard near enough to walk to all the restaurants and far enough away from the noise of the nightclubs so the only sound at night are the tree frogs chirping. Annie and Roger are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. 10/10 for staff. Simple but delicious breakfast served on the large terrace overlooking the sea completes the peaceful charm of this colonial style……

This is highlighted in many of the negative reviews. If you are not comfortable walking an incline to get to your room, then this location might not be for you. “The property is in a lovely location, very quiet a a peaceful - you really need a car as nowhere nearby to get supplies, it’s basic, but immaculate and with everything you need. Sharon was very helpful, but we sadly we were unable to meet Gabriela and Douglas on this occasion, we had read such glowing reviews about them. (I hope you are feeling better, and hopefully we may get to come again and meet you). Deep bay is a 20 min walk and is just gorgeous. ”

“This is an affordable, comfortable option for a stay near English and Falmouth Harbors in Antigua. It works best for people who have other connections on the island like the Sailing Regatta. It is not a destination itself with the amenities of a resort.”
