Cozy canal stay

Clean and cozy. Downstairs arcade room had plenty of large arcade games plus a huge tv and loads of couches to lounge on. Upstairs had a kitchen to cook in. Great spot for dropping a line.

The property is cute and adequate for a stay short or long. It does have a boat slip and you can fish right there. Just be aware the house is worn down a bit , but nicely furnished and clean. Quiet neighborhood that felt safe!

My teen boys loved being able to step right outside and fish from the back door! It was absolutely perfect with plenty of space! The downstairs gaming area was great, especially having the extra bathroom. It was clean and up-to-date!

Graduation Celebration

I stayed at this property to celebrate my God-son’s graduation. The place was perfect. We had such a delightful stay. The rooms were fitting for the amount of people that stayed and the outside setting was perfect for the company we had for the dinner. We cooked and ate and had a wonderful time with the beach just footsteps away. We loved it and we will definately celebrate other events here!

Wonderful stay at Blue Marlin

This is a great property in a great location for a great deal!! There are a few small issues with the property that you can read about in other reviews, but since we were aware of them before booking none were deal breakers for us. If you're looking for perfect you can pay twice as much somewhere else and get it! We were looking for affordable and this sure met that requirement! We had a wonderful 5 night stay 😁

The house was wonderful! Had everything you could ever need! Rooms and bathroom were nice ! Game room was an added bonus! So much fun. We brought our boat and it was such a breeze docking at the house! Would recommend to anyone and will definitely stay again!

Very nice and quiet corner beach house that feels like home. This is our second time staying here. We love that it’s a hidden two story. The only bad thing is the mosquitos outside, but the owner can’t control that. Would definitely recommend for a quick get away.

Great place! Fun game room downstairs. Four stars because lots of flies even though we kept the doors shut, and one of the beds had sand in it when we arrived. Would return without a doubt though!

Relaxing Peaceful Getaway

We had an amazingly chill and peaceful weekend. It was a nice short getaway for my family. We played the games provided as well as others that we brought. The fireplace brought us all together and we enjoyed the time with each other at night. Beds were comfortable, clean and inviting. The game room downstairs was a hit with the kids.

Quiet getaway

Quiet neighborhood close to everything you need, bait, boat ramp, great fishing, beach, and food. The house has two story , fun and games on bottom floor with washer and dryer, and restroom with shower, separated from top floor which has three quaint bedrooms full bathroom. The kitchen and family room are combined with an outside deck . Boat mooring area in little water cut in between all the beautiful homes. The mosquitoes patrol spays for mosquitoes so they are not a problem. GREAT STAY

Great Fishing Location

We docked our boat around the corner and rode it to the house. We fished for three days from this perfect spot. Bait at the boat dock. Bar and grill across the canal for a break from fishing. Get to the jetties or go up the canal in minutes from this location. Second trip and already planning my third.

Great place, great location!

The property overall was very nice and I would stay again. The reason I gave 4 stars for cleanliness is the BBQ pit was pretty nasty and the brush to clean it was completely worn to the plastic. But hey, it is a metal BBQ pit near the beach. Other than that, it was a nice clean property.

Thanksgiving Get Away

My husband and I rented the Blue Marlin Beach Box for a mini vacation with the family over Thanksgiving week. We had a wonderful time with a camp fire every night and lots of games to enjoy. Do remember you are on the coast and there will be mosquitos. We took care of the problem with citronella candles, a fogger and Deep Woods Off which kept them away. Great place for a family vacation. I would recommend you to bring bath towels, they are supplied but not many and very thin. Would definitely rent it again!

Weekend trip

Great location, close to the beach. The house did not have many amenities you have to bring everything with you including certain cookware. The house was not very clean upstairs nor downstairs. There were ants everywhere in the bed on the floor. Would not recommend this stay.
