Overall it was a good stay. Nice location beautiful sunsets, kids loved being able to fish the entire time. The house was not well cleaned and there were some broken chairs and tables outside. The showers were luke warm. I’m not sure we would rent this specific house again but overall the stay was ok.

Great sound side house

The only downside to this home was the late check in/early check out. Given its size, the home is not eligible for alternative times. Otherwise, the home was immaculate. Great location. The small, sound side beach was perfect for small children, kayaks, fishing. Would definitely recommend.

Spectacular Views

This was a lovely stay and the property offered some of the most spectacular views I have ever stayed at. Plenty of space an incredible privacy. There were a couple of areas of feedback: we paid for the pool to be heated, and it never heated up; there could have been more attention paid to the cleaning (specifically the kitchen & grill); the listing did not provide any details on the kayaks or paddle board, so I ended up paying extra for advanced rentals when it was unnecessary. Overall, I would stay here again. The location of this house in incredible, and the views were second to none.

Make sure that you bring toilet paper, soap, and other disposable items. They also did not provide enough towels. When we checked in, there were two rolls of toilet paper for six bathrooms, a roll of paper towels, no hair dryers, and not enough towels for all of the guests and no beach towels. When I called the next morning, they did not offer to provide additional toilet paper and wanted to charge 7 each for extra towels. For the amount of money spent, I would expect more basic amenities.The cabinets, carpet, and furniture were a little worn, but overall acceptable. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, skillet, and utensils.The view was beautiful.

Idyllic Setting; Beautiful Home

We were 18 guests, ranging in age from 94 down to ten months. It is the first time we stayed in a sound-front property and the amount of fun to be had between kayaking, examining sealife, the safe little beach for the youngest family members, all right outside our door, plus, the beautiful, well-proportioned pool, and the absolute privacy [there were no guests in the adjacent properties, and those houses were well-away from our house!] - meant that our stay exceeded expectations.Inside, the house is spacious, the beds comfortable, the elevator a real boon [though my nonagenarian parents insisted on using the stairs!], and the kitchen was so well-equipped as to be astonishing! With a group as large as we were, we ate every meal "in," and so we really appreciated the abundance of tableware, the small appliances and myriad utensils, pyrex casseroles, and on and on.I would highly recommend this well-appointed house for its spaciousness, its comfort [the beds were great!] and cleanliness, and if you like seclusion, for its superb setting. I really can't say enough!
