This 1 bedroom apartment is located in the heart of the Lido area in Funchal in a quiet and secure residence. Facing south, this apartment offers you an excellent view of the ocean, as well as easy access to Monumental Road where there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and a super market at your door step. Renovated recently, the facilities are modern with fully equipped kitchen. There is a spacious bedroom with a large closet. The apartment is of a very good size and is able to sleep 4 adults plus small child. There is a sofa bed in the living room with 2 super comfy single beds. Brand new bathroom with bath / shower. You can have breakfast on the balcony. There is also a large sun terrace (west facing) with a large dining table Ideal for the summer evenings where the sun will be just perfect also with added sun loungers. Out the front entrance (Monumental Road) and you are minutes away from the promenade and the Lido swimming pool complex.

Wunderschöne Zeit in Funchal
Tolle Ferienwohnung die alle Erwartungen erfüllt hat. Carol ist ein großartige Gastgeberin. Absolut und ohne Einschränkungen empfehlenswert. Kleiner Haken am Rande; während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde in der Etage unter gebaut.

An excellent holiday
A clean and modern property with lovely views from front balcony. Private area for sun-bathing at back of property. Central to local bus services, tour operators, pubs, restaurants and much more. Excellent communication from owner throughout - from initial enquiry for booking to meeting at apartment - also checked we were OK the day after arrival. Thanks

great views
From the outside the property did not look the part but we knew that. Inside it was all together another story, the apartment was well appointed with three great terraces/balcony which each gave a great view from each. The location was excellent with many good places to eat.

Madeira ist kein all inclusive Urlaubsziel
Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und groß. Es gibt 2 Balkons, beide haben Meerblick. Leider wurde in unmittelbarer Nähe ein Hotel gebaut, dessen Klimaanlage ziemlich laut dröhnt. Davon sollte man sich aber nicht stören lassen, denn man hat einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Atlantik und den Lido. Die Wohnung liegt zentral, Funchal ist zu Fuß eine gute halbe bis 3/4 Stunde entfernt. Camara de Lobos ist auch gut mit Bus oder zu Fuß erreichbar. Carol ist eine super Ansprechpartnerin und steht 24/7 zur Verfügung. Ich werde auf jeden Fall zurückkommen :)

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Funchal. L’appartement est vraiment très bien agencé et très bien équipé. Carol nous a très bien reçu bien expliqué le fonctionnement. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

On the Monumental in Funchal
The apartment is among hotels in the side of the city, so a walk to the marina, old city is a healthy hike, but so is Madeira. If you like walking, Madeira is a hikers' paradise. Alternatively, local buses are frequent and within a block. Good compromise is to walk down and bus back, because Madeira defies gravity: what goes down must walk up, or...…..
The apartment is spacious, well equipped and spotless. Well located for local and Aeroport buses. Mercados small and large nearby and an excellent view of the Atlantic. .
I had a comfortable stay and was able to entertain my friends with dinner and drinks when they dropped by.
I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Well equipped and convenient apartment
We were picked up by Jorge and met by Carol at the apartment. Carol showed us around and gave us some recommendations on restaurants. We had a pleasant stay and the highlight was the balconies allowing all day sun if that is what you like. The views are also spectacular. Highly recommend!

Großartiger Blick, gute Lage, etwas laut
Der Blick auf den Atlantik vom Balkon des Wohnzimmers aus ist großartig, allerdings ist die Straße und die Klimaanlage des Hotels davor etwas laut.
3 Schwimmbäder sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Bus ins Zentrum vor der Tür. Viele Restaurants etc. Im Bad roch es etwas nach Siel. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber.

Superbe location !
Nous avons passé 1 semaine dans ce très bel appartement offrant tous les services possibles. Très proche de toute commodités, il est idéal pour famille avec enfant. Ana, l’hôte, est très agréable et reste disponible si besoin. Le bâtiment est calme. Possibilité de prendre le bus juste en bas du bâtiment.
Très belle île à découvrir avec de magnifiques coins et activités, petit conseil si vous louez un véhicule, optez pour une bonne motorisation afin de prendre les routes pentues sereinement. Bon séjour.
