Service is extremely courteous and warm, with one service staff following us through the whole stay. The additional Matsu keiseki dinner is marvelous. Overall the stay here is very peaceful and comfortable.

This historic tradition Kyoto guesthouse is renovated with a very comfortable atmosphere.
Staff are quite good in English. No communication problem at all.
Their cuisine made of lots of fresh ingredients and good cooking technique, but I think it is a bit fusion cuisine rather 100% tradition style.
It is a very good choice if you are frist time to Kyoto, but if you are a experienced Gourmet you may find the price is just fair for what you get. Especially for the breakfast, a bit...

Lovely bed-and-breakfast inn, with owner staying at one of the units.
Convenient location from the main shopping & restaurant area, and also walkable to subway.
Hard to hail taxi outside of the hotel when we need to go to the airport. So the hotel calls taxi for us. We waited for about 10 min before the taxi came, which is ok.
The room has tatami floor, which is one of the reasons we chose this inn. Room was warm at night, with a temperature control inside the room that we can adjust &...
