"I was unsure walking up to the building about how "hotel-like" it would be but the building is so charming and the hotel staff was very responsive via WhatsApp. We enjoyed that there was a contintental breakfast every morning and felt like we were in a hotel but then had some of the experience of being a local when you walked out the door. "I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It is in the Centro Storica, just steps from the Teatro Felice. However, it is located on a little side street off of via Roma, so it is very quiet and peaceful. The hotel is clean and modern, and the staff was pleasant, professional and very helpful concerning questions about the city."

"The Riva Superior is on the fifth floor accessible by elevator. It's part of another hotel in the same building. Other floors are for other businesses. There is a breakfast room on the fifth floor but this was not used and we used the main first floor instead. Breakfast was included and was great! Lots of options, coffee made fresh and great service, could be busy at times. Our room was nice and comfortable and the location is perfect for walking about Genoa, both for sightseeing and dining."
