Our House of Stars - Casa De Las Estrellas, is a private sanctuary featuring stunning views of the ocean and the vast skies above. When here you are the only guests. Enjoy our infinity pool. There are two outdoor dining spaces one next to the kitchen downstairs and one at the pool level with a barbecue. We have 5 bedrooms en suites, with seven (7) beds, housed in 3 different structures. Assuming 2 couples it sleeps up to 9 people. The compound offers clean modern architecture with an eye for organic form and is tastefully furnished with Balinese teakwood furniture and Asian statuary. It was designed by Salagnacar Arquitectos, architects of the Bodhi Tree and Nomad Hotel. There are multiple indoor/outdoor hang-out areas including the palapas, (traditional palm leaf structures). Great for families, friends groups, creative retreats, or if you are dreaming of a perfect remote office for an extended rental. Five of our ensuite rooms have desks. There is 50+MPBS Wi-Fi throughout and in all buildings (zoom calling works here) Great site for bird and monkey watching. There is an excellent grocery store, Blue Gaza, 5 minutes away left at the exit. Also in Gaza find a place to buy the daily catch at the Fish Store. Our house is in the jungle and there is an abundance of wild life. You will be visited by howler monkeys (who never enter the house), morpho butterflies, iguanas and and symphonies of night insects, a few examples of Costa Rica's extraordinary biodiversity. Some people want to stay at our place because of this. If you are a city person not interested in the sounds and presence of the jungle this is not the place for you.
