30th wedding anniversary in Gatlinburg

The condo was beautiful. I must say we were disappointed to not be left any type of personal welcome package such as some cheese and crackers, snack mix, fruit, bottle or two of water, etc. There are no quick or easy access convenience stores, so having just a few snacks waiting for us would have been greatly appreciated. There were also no facial tissues available so we had to use toilet paper to blow our noses.

The check in process was terrible. Very poor communication from the property management. The pool was filthy and the hot tubs were over chlorinated. Our air conditioning stopped working and they couldn't get it fixed so their solution was to put us in a different room 2 days later. We later decided that didn't work for us and checked out the next day then they denied refunding the rest of the stay saying its against their "policy". We gave them notice that we were checking out but they still wouldn't refund the 5 days that we weren't there even though we never checked in to the other room.
