“Neat place with tons of character and charm.”

“Perfect location, terrible property. The historic nature of it is cool, but still disappointed by what we experienced here. Staff was decent, Mack the night attendant was the best. The chef who won them a couple Michelin Plates (stars for hotels) is no longer employed here, and they no longer offer dinner service at all. This is NOT a 5 star hotel for those who have stayed in one before. When I brought up our experience to the manager, he said “Well, we are not a self professed 5 star hotel”.……

“The property is conveniently located in an ideal location centrally to many walkable attractions. It is on one of the most beautiful streets in the historic area. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The courtyard was a relaxing retreat throughout the day. The hotel was offering breakfast that was creative and delicious. They also offered an evening wine and cheese social which provided an opportunity to meet with others staying at the property. ……

“The building is beautiful and very charming. The room we stayed is very spacious and it was for the most part well maintained considering that is an old building. The curtain to the terrace is not well placed and has zip ties holding and some wiring. The jet tub was not very clean and barely hot water. Fully open was just luck warming and even after waiting more than the 5 min they asked (15 min). I asked the staff to change the water heater temperature as plumber, I knew what I was asking. It……

“We enjoyed our stay in the Marshall House. The bed was good and the room was nice. We especially liked the evening happy hour and associated activities. Trivia night was a lot of fun. The breakfast was okay, not great.”

“Nice bed and good breakfasts. However, hated the spray spigots in the shower, the BR window frame was rotting, and just did not like the Bathroom at all; the AC vents were grossly dirty/molded throughout. The downstairs lobby area was very nice but everything in it’s entirety needed a good cleaning.. I would not recommend it.”

“The corner room is noisy at night- there were many people gathering near the hotels till 1 or 2 am and you could hear them. There was an Irish bar across from the hotels which you would hear the music playing at night. There was coffee stain in the carpet of the room I stayed. The hotel has good hospitality and the bed was comfortable. ”

“I really like the place, our one bedroom apartment is nice and comfortable. It is like a home away from home. If we go back to Savannah, we would book that place again.”

“In my opinion is 4 star minus , The room was dirty, with hair on the floor, and the water pressure in the shower was weak. The bedding appeared clean but had old stains. The location was perfect. Also, don't forget to carry your ID with you everywhere, as you have to show it every time you purchase alcohol ,”
