「The bears den was a nice quiet getaway for me and my wife to celebrate our anniversary. She chose this time of year because of the fall leaves and the Allegheny national Forest was full of awesome autumn sights. The property is a repurposed restaurant and each unit has a unique theme. We loved the decor and the privacy. The river is short walk from the front door. We would stay again for sure. 」

「This was our second stay at this lovely house on the river. We had 6 adults plus our dogs, so we were thrilled to find a place to accommodate such a large group. Enjoyed the front porch overlooking the river, which was big enough for all of us to use at once, and made use of the back patio with grill.
