Walnut Creek German Culture Museum Hotels

"Apparently the restaurant has a banquet hall on the lower level of the hotel. Everyone attending the baquet took all the parking which left no parking for paying hotel quest. The banquet had a band that played " loud music" to the point that your windows were shaking and you could not even hear the TV. They played until 9pm at night. No considering was given to hotel quest that had already paid for a " quiet peacefully time in Amish country". Given the fact that everything else in Amish country closes on a Saturday at 6pm. Even the restaurant closed at 8pm, what were paying hotel quests to go. I have stayed many times here and have always liked it here but , no care or concern was given to hotel quests. When i expessed my concern to staff at the desk , it was like " oh well" we just found out about it. They advertise as peace and comfort but on this stay it was not the case. I could of stayed another night at a hotel in the city. "

"This cabin had everything we needed and more. Every detail was so well thought out. Plenty of amenities were provided. Shampoo, body wash, dish soap, towels, linens, garbage bags, etc were all of excellent quality. The kitchen was outfitted with more than you would need to prepare simple (and even more elaborate) meals. The cabin was functional, cozy, and secluded while still being close to tourism spots in and around Berlin. The hot tub was a really nice perk to use on the screened-in porch. We really liked the pretty lamp above the hot tub. Board games, books, and a smart tv were great to have to be able to relax and enjoy some down time with our friends. Because the cabin is built on some hilly area, you get the feel of staying in a “tree house” cabin without the higher cost. We enjoyed reading the guest book and searching for dollar bills that previous guests have hidden around the cabin. Also the parking area included a “roundabout” gravel driveway, which made it pretty easy to get in and out of the property from the road. We will definitely stay at Rocky Hill Cabins again for a weekend away in Amish Country! "

"We had a wonderful stay at this rental! It was the perfect spot for our girls weekend—plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy our time together. The home was very clean and well-maintained, which made it even more enjoyable. We also loved the central location—it was just a short drive to shops and everything we needed.The only minor issue we ran into was with parking and the renter at the smaller unit. While the larger rental technically has a designated spot on the right side of the driveway, it was a pretty tight squeeze and a bit tricky to navigate.I’m usually a little skeptical about pet-friendly places, but we had zero concerns here—there was no sign at all of any previous pets, which was a huge plus!We woukd definitely stay again!"
