"I am very satisfied with this hotel
I arrived at 12:30 pm, check-in time is 3pm. The staff is very nice and help us to do all the check-in work first, so I only need to pick up the key cards at 3pm.
We booked a room with 2 full size beds and a tatami area as we have 4 people. The beds are comfortable and big (maybe its a queen size!)
The food at the restaurant is excellent. We tried their dinner sets with Hida Beef; the food at breakfast buffet was really good as well. Hotel offer late night snack (rice ball and sweet red bean soup); there was a coffee machine at the lobby that guest can feel free to get a cup of coffee at anytime.
There was microwave on our floor, so we can re-heat some food we bought from conveinence store.
The spa is on the top floor, not too big, but not crowded. The resting area was cozy.
Location of hotel is just a few minutes walking distance from Takayama train station and the Nouhi Bus station (buses to the Shinhotaka Ropeway, Shirakawa, Hirayu Onsen etc); about 10-15 minutes walking distance to Mcdonald's, Starbucks, Muji and 2 big supermarkets, Miyagawa Morning Market, Old Town Takayama"
