"If you plan to go to the GEM and pyramids while in Cairo, this location is very convenient. Every single staff member was super friendly and went above and beyond to help. My room was clean and modern with a great view of GEM and the pyramids. The breakfast was amazing and so large that it seriously kept me full the whole day so I had to scale down the next few days just so I could try other places- great value! Just note that the surrounding street and neighborhood look a bit disheveled and are not very walkable. There is trash and stray animals, however this is typical of much of Cairo side streets and infrastructure limitations. Don’t let it dissuade you from staying on the property. I always felt the hotel itself was clean, comfortable, 10/10 trustworthy and friendly staff and an amazing value and suburb rooftop view!! I would definitely stay again. Also note that even though the GEM is across the street, you’ll still have to take an uber bc there is no safe way to cross. I never had trouble with Ubers finding the hotel to pick me up. "
"It was totally adequate for the pyramids and the GEM ..Had there own hotel driver as well for any trips and the Heaven rooftop bar restaurant was one of the great views in the world so close to the pyramids..and they even offered to pick me up from the airport for free..Excellent all round experience. "
"Diamond in the ruff is an understatement for this place. I could not have been more pleased with this place. The room was exactly how it is described on the site. But the exceptional service of the staff was amazing ..Hany, Yasmin, & Mahmoud were absolutely outstanding. Their level of attentiveness to the quests exceeds any top tier resort. You will not be disappointed..Book, Book, Book this hotel. "
"The hotel was generally clean, room was comfortable, hot water for a good shower, they made room service (which is no common in hotels in Egypt for this price), breakfast was ‘ok’, good internet connection, the staff was very friendly and helpful at every request. The view in the rooftop was great. However, one of the windows didn’t close properly so at night was difficult to sleep and the building does not have lift (service staff help to carry the luggages though)."
"We had a great stay. The rooms were clean and the staff very helpful. We organised our guide for the pyramids through the hotel and this was excellent, helping us to navigate the site seemlessly without fuss and enjoy it!"
"Where do I start… firstly they never told me my room was not ready until I contacted them the day before I was due to arrive to ask them about airport pick up then they arranged for me free of charge to stay in a hotel close by which was nice of them to do.
When I went to view my room the next day the room was in a very bad condition. The bathroom was unusable. There was a very bad smell and I decided I’d no longer wanted to stay there and I went back to stay at the first hotel that they had arranged for me to stay in although the staff are very friendly and understanding and made necessary arrangements however it added on extra time that I needed to explore onto moving around buildings and rooms
The rooms look nothing like the pictures they displayed on the website. The accommodation also has a different name to what they have on the website when you get there is called pyramid view in and not crown Plaza but again the rooms look nothing like they do in images there’s no giant windows there’s no bathtubs in the room. It’s a small tiny window however the only good thing I would say is that it has an amazing view of the pyramids. "
"Having breakfast outside viewing the pyramids is amazing.
The closeness of the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum makes it the only place to stay,"
"Great free breakfast in the morning with a lot of variety- the falafels were delicious. The staff is welcoming, friendly and very helpful with anything you may need! Free coffee and tea. The view from our room was incredible - the pyramids right put front. We stayed in the double room with jacuzzi and pyramid view. We enjoyed our time here. The staff really made it special. Thank you 😊 "
