Grand Ol'Glasgow

Fantastic apartment in a great location. We stayed for two nights, the description of the property is extremely accurate. Thomas the host couldn't have been more helpful, would highly recommend this place. The added bonus of car parking beneath the building saved us a fortune in fees too.

Great Overall Experience!

The apartment is very conveniently located in city centre, with restaurants, pubs, shopping, bus and train stations nearby. Great view of the river, very comfortable, and clean! The property manager could not have been more accommodating by letting us drop off our bags early while the apartment was being cleaned, and also giving us wonderful recommendations during our stay in Glasgow. Highly recommend staying here!!

Short 5 day visit to Glasgow

The apartment is ideally situated in the center of the city. Easy walking distance to hundreds of restaurants, bars and shops. Also ideally situated for train and bus adventures and would highly recommend the open top city bus tour as it’s only £17 for 2 days and you can jump on and off unlimited times. The apartment is ideal for adults on a short stay and used as a base for day trips to the highlands and Ayrshire coast.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Metropole. The apartment had a beautiful view of the Clyde River and we were happy to have a deck to enjoy it from. The apartment was quite spacious with plenty of amenities. It was located close to several train stations, pubs, and shops - very easy to walk around. Thomas was excellent to communicate with, very efficient and friendly - the kids really enjoyed having a surprise x-box set up in one of the rooms! We felt very comfortable here and would be happy to stay again!

Great jumping off point for our trip

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids ages 11, 14, and 16) stayed for two nights in this property to start off our 2 week vacation in Scotland. The apartment was a perfect for us and our host Thomas was attentive and responsive. He met us at the property to show us around and ensure our check in went smoothly. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and well located. We were able to explore Glasgow on foot and by tour bus easily. We highly recommend this property and would stay again if we return to Glasgow in the future.

Unmatched location and view!

A great spot in a fantastic location, making everything in the city accessible! The home itself was comfortable and more spacious than expected, the host himself was super helpful and incredibly pleasant, but the view from the balcony was a sight to behold. A great location for a quick weekend getaway or a foreign traveler!
