Unfortunately when we arrived, the whole town (along with 5 other towns) was without power...which meant it was difficult to utilise everything. However the staff was excellent and super helpful. When the power did come back on, our room had lights but no outlets working, the staff made this a priority to resolve...which they did!

There were little gnats or fruit flies, we couldn’t determine which, the toilet ran all night. We couldn’t turn the light on because the bugs were attracted to the light. The bugs were also on the sheets. Also, fire pit was out.

The pros: decent location (not downtown but an easy 1.8mi bike ride). Price was the main reason we selected this hotel, and it was dog friendly. The cons: The property was poorly lit at night and the side entry door was always propped open. There was always a smell (sometimes very strong onion, other times cooking shrimp). The faucet in the bathroom as well as the shower dripped constantly. Breakfast is very small and the coffee was terrible.

Glenwood is a very expensive town and this place is decent enough to stay a night and doesn’t cost a crazy amount compared to other properties in the area. Nothing fancy or memorable but they do have some extras in the room like a fridge and microwave.

Parking is very tight if you have a truck. There is no heat and no extra blankets. Staff isn't very knowledgeable about anything other checking in. It's a good place if you just need a roof over your head and a bed. Also lock your car, there's people hanging out/sleeping in cars in their parking lot.
