Drummuie House was absolutely superb, no expense has been spared with the fixtures and fittings. The house was extremely well equipped and we found everything we needed in the local area. Credit has to go to the housekeeper for keeping such a large house spotlessly clean. The garden was superb and totally enclosed which was perfect for our two dogs. An absolutely beautiful house that we were sad to leave. It has a quirky layout that we all loved. The kitchen has every utensil and appliance you could ever need. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The pool table was used every single day, I love that there were actually enough chairs in living room and dining room for the amount of people - this is often an issue at big places. The kids loved running around the garden, great place for hide and seek! Everything was superb and we are already trying to squeeze in another trip at some point. The size and space of the house is amazing and the garden has lots of sitting areas. Once you have stayed at the house you realise how it is always fully booked. We spent one week at Drummuie to celebrate a 60th Birthday in late November early December 2019.

We spent one week at Drummuie to celebrate a 60th Birthday in late November early December 2019. The house is spacious, with well equipped kitchen, good hot water supply and comfortable beds. It is well located for walking - setting off from the house up Ben Bhraggie or into Golspie to do the coastal walk to Brora. We enjoyed walks every day and with the right clothing rain didn't matter. I would stay here again. One comment about the fire in the living room - arriving on a Saturday in Winter it would be good to have more than one fire's worth of logs supplied or at least the facility to make sure a paid for supply available at the house.

Brilliant beautiful very well presented house. The location was not quite what we expected being further away from access to the sea than we had supposed. Local area beautiful but local village not great for eating out. The house more than made up for it though. Would definitely return.

A wonderful big, luxurious house with a lovely garden and fabulous views. We really enjoyed the pool table and were very impressed by the wide range of kitchen equipment provided. There were wonderful beach walks with great opportunities to see seals and we enjoyed taking the dogs up to the monument behind the house. We have already booked a return visit! The only flaw was that I think a previous resident had fiddled with the timer on the central heating so that it went off in most of the house at 8pm. However I’m sure that will be quickly rectified and it didn’t bother me much as I am an early riser so tend to go to bed early also.

Beautiful house, could not fault it in anyway.

Beautiful house, could not fault it in anyway. Everything you need is in there and of high quality e.g beds, bedding, kitchen items etc. Inside and out was stunning. There was 10 of us there and it was planty big enough for us all. Lovely central spot for walks, the beach or to drive out to nearby towns. Ben Bragghoe is right behind it and that was a lovely climb up and the views were breath taking. Highly recommend this property

House was fabulous very well equipped, bed's extra comfy. All furnishings are well made and it's definitely a homely place filled with original features. Nice large rooms suitable for a large party there were 7 of us and it never felt cramped. The children love to watch the rabbits in the garden.

Great house, our 2nd stay here.

Great house, our 2nd stay here. We were 10 family adults with another 2 staying at Dornoch. We were there visiting my sister and husband, we did a pretend Xmas day with tree and presents. We had no problem cooking a meal for 14 people. It was magical! The only negative was that the underfloor heating in the downstairs shower and the heated towel rail weren't working so it was cold. Great holiday, would definitely recommend Drummuie House to others.
