"Evelyn gave us a very warm welcome, and the house was exceptionally clean. We felt completely comfortable during our stay. We did a lot of hiking in the beautiful surroundings, and despite the rain, the children used the pool every day and loved it.The house truly felt like home — everything we needed was there. "Clean and well-equipped for a family vacation. Located in a quiet, charming village close to Strasbourg (about 35 minutes from the park and ride). The village restaurant, within walking distance from the property, was also a great place to eat (note: closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). The host was helpful and knowledgeable about the area."

"Just returned from a wonderful stay at Chez Mathilde near Verdun. Annie, our host, was absolutely lovely — so welcoming and friendly, and she even treated us to delicious homemade goodies. The house itself was amazing, full of character with beautiful traditional features and immaculate furnishings throughout. It really felt like a home away from home. The area is fantastic too, with so much history to explore, especially the WWI sites nearby. We’d highly recommend Chez Mathilde to anyone...

"We were 24 people on a university trip and we spent 2 nights in Bussang. We were met by Murielle who gave us a tour of the house and explained how to use the kitchen appliances and where everything was kept. It snowed overnight but the house stayed warm, and we had a lovely day where we visited the Theatre du Peuple which we would 100% recommend! There is also a bakery which is walking distance from the house which many people visited."
