The place was clean, but the area was not in a great location. I grew up in and near GF. The apartment was clean, but it Also needs more TLC. Especially the bathroom! My kids would not shower in it. They showered at my mom's townhouse. The house was very noisy as well. My daughter woke me one night stating she was woken up by a scream from outside.
The apartment worked for us, but I cannot give a good review. We will not be staying there again.

Spacious, very warm in the summer, can’t reach host
This apartment could have a better description. We stay at VRBO properties regularly (almost monthly) because I prefer to have a kitchen. It’s located on the upper level (attic) of a house. The pros: lots of room, 3 bedrooms, tidy, close to the river for walking and a quite neighborhood. Cons: CANNOT reach the host before/during/after, dated, doesn’t cool down in hot weather.
When we arrived it was 94 and humid, this place was an oven! We could not get it to cool down. It has small window units in the bedroom that finally cooled down a bit, but the bathroom and kitchen were hot as you can imagine in an attic on a smokin’ day. Also the deadbolt didn’t match up with the hole so we couldn’t get it to work. We left after 1 night of a 3 night stay because The a/c was inadequate, dead bolt didn’t work, could not reach the host and got hung up by VRBO after waiting an hour to speak to them. VRBO said we left on our own so wouldn’t help us much, but after multiple emails, chats we never got a response from the host. Literally still haven’t. He did respond to the VRBO inquiry and gave a partial refund. I’ve never had a problem reaching the host at any of the places we’ve rented. There should be something in VRBO policy to protect the renter if this happens.
Would I stay here again? If it was during the hot summer, the host was accessible and they fixed the dead bolt, maybe.
