"We booked this place for a quiet Christmas getaway, and could not have been happier. The host prepared the house with lovely Christmas decorations and had everything clean and ready for us. The property was gorgeous, with plenty of outdoor space for us and our dogs to walk around and enjoy the scenery. Very quiet and secluded. The house itself was incredible. Would not hesitate to come back and bring friends."

"We had a great time with our family. We did some fishing, had a fire in the pit and relaxed. The tv was broken when we arrived (we really wanted to see the Panthers play!) and the owner ordered a new TV and had manager install the next day. Very good customer service! We will definitely consider coming back in the spring/summer to fish and relax again. "

"I can't say enough wonderful things about my stay here. The room was absolutely charming, with a king bed, jacuzzi tub, and a balcony with the spectacular river view. The complimentary breakfast served was a full, real country breakfast and delicious. Every staff member I met was more than gracious, kind, and hospitable-- each of them made my visit even more of a delight. Dinner at the restaurant was perfection: from the incredible views, the perfectly cooked steak, the (highly recommended) pot roast and potatoes with gravy, to the giant pretzel appetizer, the key lime pie, and the impeccable service, everything was fabulous. Even the hostess won me over with her thoughtfulness. The bourbon bar was an added bonus! 5 stars! I can't wait to come back."
