Gedney Farm is a good place to stay for travelers looking for a spot a bit off the beaten track. The style is very informal, property beautiful, and the restaurant is excellent.

Expected a quaint country inn. Slept in a tired barn. Fireplaces did not work. Advertised but upon arrival found a sign saying they were a fire hazard. (Duh!). Restaurant food was good but was like cafeteria dining. No hot breakfast. Not the romantic space we expected but we’re seeking.

Gedney farm visit

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was perfect. We brought our dog who loved the walking trails and the room. The shower was modern and wonderful. The bed was comfortable.

We loved our stay at Gedney. Michael was a sweetheart, and the grounds are GORGEOUS. We loved our room with fireplace - the whole setting is just country and updated/old. For anyone who loves farms and barns and rustic, this is for you. Can't wait to return.

My wife and I chose Gedney Farms at the last minute to enjoy a quick escape from the city. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The checkin and checkout experience was seamless. The room had a truly rustic charm, and clean and orderly. In the morning we took a nice walk on the grounds. For a quick and relaxing getaway, Gedney Farms is a great choice.
