「The cabin and location were great. The kids loved visiting the lake to go swimming. The cabin was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this location for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation location.」

「We really enjoyed our overnight stay here. There were 5 of us and Cabin 1 accommodated us perfectly. The campground was very peaceful, quiet, and clean as was the cabin. Will definitely book again next year!」

「Such a cute little place, we enjoyed our stay and the.whole atmosphere of all the tiny homes.」

「Everything was perfect when I arrived. The beach was not as pictured」

「Extended weekend with my wife and dogs. We loved it there. Planning to book again soon.」

「The owners were very responsive. The property was well kept and comfortable. Even with the owners living on site, there was no one bothering us. We didn’t do any outdoor activities on the property with all of the cabins being rather close together with no separation, but it was too hot to be outside anyway.」

「Everything was very clean, parking was easy and plenty of room for the truck and boat. Check in was very easy and great contact with very quick responses. Definitely recommend to stay here.」

「Couldn’t ask for anything more」

「What a treasure The Shire in Savanna is. Clean, nicely decorsuppled with everything you need, beautiful settting. Brian and Charmaine are great hosts, responsive, clear communication. Can’t wait to go back!」

「Nice and cozy place to stay.」

「Great place to stay! Pictures were great but it was even better in person! Hosts were very communicative. We would definitely stay here again!」

「The host was great, the cabin was beautiful and gave the exact aesthetics we were looking for. It ended up raining a majority of our stay and we got to watch the rain come in on a comfortable porch with a beautiful view. It was a quick stay for us but we plan on visiting again! 10/10 experience」

「Pretty calm and beautiful place」

「Booked this as a last minute mini spring break vacation and absolutely loved it. Will visit again. Cabin was adorable, clean and very well kept. Hammock chairs under cabin were the highlight of the trip. Found some games in the coffee table and it was nice to teach my son games that did not involve electronics. Bathhouse was very close by and exceptionally clean and well stocked. Shower was amazing. Puppy had a great time walking the trail with us. Easy drive to Whitewater State Park.」

「The cabin was very clean and cute and had a lot of games to play when indoors. Items that could be improved: some outdoor games; there was not a drainer stopper in the kitchen sink (and the sink was very small); the main bedroom shower floor was little rocks and some were a little pokey on the feet; flannel sheets on the bed in July is an odd choice; the outdoor grill was not usable - the grates on it were not clean and were in bad shape, plus it appears only two of the burners were working.」
