「Our room was super clean. The grounds were lush and jungle like. True rainforest vibes. The staff were so helpful. They arranged our taxi from the airport and a massage by the pool. The breakfast at their restaurant was beyond explanation. It was so different yet phenomenal. Great spot. 」

「The room was very nice and clean; staff were helpful as well. The owner actually helped troubleshoot my electric stove from Prague over video chat, that was cool of him to do that. This was a great stay. However, it felt like a couple's retreat and as a solo traveler it was A. Tad discouraging at times as I was there for 8 days; though perhaps a lack of research on my part. That aside, this place was pretty awesome and close to a local well-pressed grocery store. I would definitely stay here...

「A real gem of a place just a few minutes walk to the beach. Quiet, clean, and helpful staff. Pros: best Gluten-free menu and food of our 7 day trip. Chefs kiss!! The tuna and blackened fish were out of this world. Pool was warm and open all hours. Grounds were well kept. Tennis courts available. Cons: no TV in room, but really what are you doing inside anyway. 」

「The drive in does this place no justice. Once reaching the hotel it is absolutely beautiful, overlooking Tamarindo and the ocean. The infinity views are unbelievable as are the suites. There is an airbnb feel to it because of how private the suites are, feels like a retreat or a private getaway, and the staff is ready to serve at every opportunity. Carlos was awesome, he gave us a seamless check in experience and the dinner was delicious! Hard to say what the best part of this stay was but...

「Latica lodge was amazing to stay at! If you’re looking for that community vibe then this should be on the top of your list. Everyone from all over the world staying there, all having breakfast/supper together was spectular. The owners are everyday people willing to help you out with everything they made the stay so enjoyable.
