“This was incredibly beautiful! We loved our stay. Be careful and make sure you close your tent completely so the bugs don't get in, but it is a tent in Guatemala at the end of the day, so there will probably be a bug at some point. One thing I think they could improve on is providing locks for the tents. Rooms get to be locked up but the tents are all just based on an honor system I guess? We were absolutely fine and no one snuck into our tent or anything, but it only takes one bad egg.”

“The room was beautiful, the staff were very accommodating and Gaby& Jochen were so welcoming. Breakfast was amazing as were the dinners, especially with the incredible view. The view of the lake with the volcanos in the background is unbeatable! If you want a peaceful stay in lake atitlan this is definitely the place to be.”

“Excellent location to access Tikal. Pool was amazing! We swam in the rain. The bungalows are incredible. We appreciated having power at night to charge phones, even though the main building turns off their generator. The food is great, staff was kind and patient with our limited Spanish. Netting around the beds was a must for night time, worked well and kept the gnats out. Overall excellent experience and highly recommend staying here to explore Tikal. ”

“This listing is outdated and the property owner no longer has control of it. I made this booking knowing it was a gamble and ended up getting lucky enough to find someone on the property when I arrived at night. If they haven't been home then I would have been stranded in the jungle late at night without a way to get to town.”
