“It is an A-typical hotel property but the room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was big with modern amenities. If you are there to enjoy the outdoors and need a place to unwind at the end of the day, then it is perfect ”
“Great, friendly, helpful staff, free popcorn, extra coffee packs, wonderful hot tub, easy parking.
Only disappointment was the very limited options for TV
watching. ”
“Very tidy and clean. Nice decor/style. Newly renovated. Nice place to stay to save money and take day trips to Ouray, Gunnison and Telluride. Excellent value!!!! ”
“I came here looking for a quiet place to focus on my writing, and I got way more than I expected. The space itself is beautifully designed — modern but with character, and lots of natural light. I found plenty of quiet nooks both inside and outdoors to write and read. The staff respected my space but were always warm when I needed something. It’s rare to find a place that feels both inspiring and grounded.”
“Great location for visiting the Black Canyon, clean, good fridge, tasty breakfast options, and nearby breweries - would stay here again if I visit this place again. ”
“I stayed at this property in August 2025. They were at the end of an extensive remodel of the property. Every staff member I met went out of their way to make sure your stay was as comfortable as possible. The people doing the remodel work were also very pleasant and polite. there was a lot of seating inside in the lobby, but most of the outdoor seating was in full sun. My bed was comfortable, the Internet was reliable and they were plenty of plugs to charge cell phones, etc.”
