"Great breakfast, excellent restaurant and even better staff. Everyone from the warm reception (at 11:30 pm!) who stayed late so we could enjoy a night cap after a long travel day. Engaging all around! Would definitely stay again!"

Would come back any day and highly recommend to anyone. The personal touch and interaction with the host was appreciated and the perfect touch one would ask for a true Bed and Breakfast experience."

"Cosy and very clean with lots to make a comfortable stay.Fabulous artwork around the cottage linked to the area added much to the overall experience Fabulous views from the sitting room window. Good quality towels and bedding and well equipped kitchen.Would definitely stay again."

"This was expensive for what it was but I guess there are a lot of tourists in Orkney and not a lot of accommodation! Over £200 a night for a small room, double bed (not king). The rate did include breakfast, which was adequate (order from list the night before). The hotel did have a restaurant - food was fine - and a bar and friendly barman. Staff were lovely altogether. I have never been to Orkney before so can’t make any comparisons but I suspect this may be among the better places to stay. Lots of room to park the car. Sea view."

"We loved the tour of the facility and our room. Help with parking was so useful for ease of getting out of the lot. My wife needed medicine kept cold and ice packs frozen and had no issues having this done for us. Because we were leaving before breakfast a to go meal was provided for us."
