“Our lovely hosts, Brent and Maria, took the time to meet with us in person and show us around their beautiful property. We loved the personal touch! They even left us a basket of goodies on the kitchen bench! Their home was immaculate, very spacious, modern and cosy and the beds were very comfortable.”

“The staff are friendly and always wear a big smile. The room is big though a bit dark and worn, but it's still cozy to stay. There's a restaurant inside the hotel. The food are average but at least convenient. ”

“The hotel is a beautiful historical building, up on hill (some slope to climb if not drive). A spectacular view over the city from our room on 1/F. Room is huge, and up-to-standard clean. I would suggest a more thorough cleaning of the bath tub. I like the heat light in shower room. Breakfast served is simple (I.e yoghurt, milk, cereal, pancake and bread). Please bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and sandals (not provided by hotel). Reception staff is helpful and gave us tips on restaurants.……

“This is an amazing place to stay. Just on the edge of the city, you would think you were in the bush, away from the busyness of life. Plenty of wildlife to observe as you sit on the deck. Great having a log fire to keep the house warm. Everything you need is supplied at this property. Highly recommended. ”
