"Such a great place! Staff was very friendly, and did their best through the language barrier. Room was large and clean, with a beautiful view of the town and the adjacent river. Futon came with lots of extra padding and blankets, very comfortable. The on-site onsen was a treat, steaming hot and very relaxing. Traditional breakfast was delicious. Located an easy 5 minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station, very convenient for seeing all of Hakone, although most attractions will require a bus trip...
