「This property was very clean and comfortable! The view from the deck was outstanding and we loved that it was very close to the lake. The location was great and was close to a lot of great wineries/breweries that we visited during our stay. I will say that I did make the mistake of not reading all the way through the amenities list and did not realize that the house did not come with towels/washcloths or bed sheets/pillowcases, so just make sure to bring those with you when staying here! 「This is my second time staying at the property and I absolutely will recommend it to any small group looking for a home base close to everything in Watkins Glen. I brought my mother for her first time in a VRBO and she loved everything about it. This house is well maintained, love the backyard with no one around, kitchen has everything you need to eat either leftovers or cook for yourself. It truly is a 10/10 property, I can't wait to come again. Thanks again for being wonderful hosts.」

Even getting us out of the mud on the first night. Close to some of the best wineries and eats in the area, and a short drive to some very visually stunning parks beyond the lake itself. 「Cabin is great. just deep enough into the woods so you see nothing but woods, yet only 15min or so from town. Feel of a cabin with the amenities of a full house. Walking trails right there, for a quick walk in woods, or just sit on porch or in the clearing by firepit. Been here twice, once in the winter 10 years ago, and this spring. Both times great.」

「We really enjoyed staying in this little home. It is within walking distance of downtown Watkins Glen so it is very easy to walk to if you choose to do so. The inside was very clean and well kept. We liked the close proximity to various winerys and restaurants. It made it very easy to stop back and drop off our goodies we collected throughout the days we were there.」

「We had such a great stay here for a week. Being right on the lake brought the four of us the peace and quiet we were all hoping for. Two of us could get cell service and two of us couldn't. My husband and I never missed our phones once. It was just so nice to be steps away from the water. There were kayaks for us to use, paddle boat and a row boat. We used all of them.
