Overall great service from the staff and the hotel is nicely located in the Old Quarters. Rooms are nice and the only issue is the shower, it was hard to control the temperature and the water intensity.

GREAT SERVICE
The manager and hotel staff are so nice and accommodating. They let us store our luggage while we do an overnight boat trip to Halong Bay.

Everything is great!
5 star service provided by the staff, introduced the good food stall and attractions. Recommend to follow the tour(we did on ha long bay tour) offered by hotel as the tour engaged is reliable and all cost have been included! Breakfast selection is ok but they can do breakfast to your demand if possible.. Hotel even provided bread, yogurt and bottled water for take away as we were checking out early (they even prepared for my friend who did not stay in the same hotel) ! Highly recommend this hotel for location wise as well. It is located at old quarter so it's walkable distance to hoan kiem lake and night market on the weekends.

200% experience golden Sun palace
This was by far the best accommodation i have ever had concerning customer service. After our luggage was delayed we asked the AirPort to deliver the lost luggage to this hotel even though we had to move to cat ba (returning 3 days later to Hanoi). They kept in touch to inform us about our luggage. When we came back to pick up our luggage to take a night buss they offered us Some room to repack, take a shower and gave us some drinks... ALL Free of charge. They also helped us finding Nice restaurants, cheap taxi’s and Many more. Even without this extraordinary friendly and good service, the rooms were very clean, bed was soft and location is very close to the old town! I cannot imagine something alike for such a low price. Highly recommended!

The bell boy was the best part. He was so nice!!!! Actually, everybody we encountered at the hotel was nice. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Right in the middle of the old town Ha Noi, very convenient!!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially Daisy who was a joy! We had pho every morning - delicious! Great location and near Hoan Kiem Lake and shops and restaurants.

Loved our stay here. Staff are so welcoming and helpful and are always smiling. The bedroom was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, you choose from a menu and it is all cooked fresh to order - plenty to choose from. Location of hotel is excellent.

Highly Recommended, Excellent Service
Golden Sun Palace hotel is a very well run establishment, excellent service all around, check in, bell attendant, housekeeping, breakfast servers. They will do anything to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. This is my third time staying at the Old Quarter, Hanoi. This is by far the best experience. I will definitely come back to this hotel next time around.

The location is great in the old quarter and easy walking distance to all the sites in Hanoi. The room was good, very clean and includes all the amenities. The breakfast was very good with a good variety and fresh fruit everyday. The best feature of the hotel is the great staff who go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. We had a mix up with our train tickets upon departure and the staff went out of their way to re-book our train tickets and find us a room for the night. I can't say enough good things about the staff and especially Daisy and Thomas. In addition to the hotel services the golden sun group provide great travel bookings. Everything they organized for us went off as planned. I highly recommend Sun Palace hotel and their travel booking services.

Will start off by saying that the staff was five stars - super kind, welcoming and helpful! Thank you!! Stayed here two individual nights in between trips to Sapa and Ha Long Bay. Hotel is a great location in Old Quarter so it was easy to go out to grab dinner and breakfast for our short stay there. Giving a three star due to the rooms - they were pretty dated and our second room smelled very musky. Also the WiFi hardly worked on the 5th floor which was frustrating.

Stay was pleasant, staff was extremely friendly & helpful. The hotel surprised us with an upgrade on the first day which had a nice pvt. balcony which was really cool to have (only no views since the walls were high). Room was clean & well maintained. Location was good, near the pub street, lake & all the main spots of Hanoi Only downside I can think of was the poor quality of breakfast that was packed for us upon our early morning check in. However the upsides of the hotel outweighs this minor downside so overall it was a really good stay. Oh & they also provide one way airport pick up, and the driver waited out for an extremely long time while our visa formalities were being done which was incredibly sweet! And the hotel always welcomes you with an abundance of fresh fruit platters ! Nice touch!

Hanoi French quarter hotel.
The hospitality of their front desk was great. Room was ok for the money. It’s located near the center of that crowded area, with walking distance to burger king, domino pizza, etc.

Lovely personable hotel in the Old Quarter, walking distance to eats and drinks and priison etc. Good breakfast. Spacious but cosy rooms. Superior rooms at the back so quiet and have small windows opening to a light well in the building. Staff were absolutely brilliant and so helpful. Organised laundry and posting a package home for us. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend family room!
Enjoyed our stay at Golden Sun Palace Hotel. It is very clean, affordable and comfortable. We were a family of five and it was a very spacious room. My children enjoyed the breakfast. Everything is ordered of the menu and cooked fresh. Would recommend and stay again.

Hotel staff is kind. When we reached at the hotel, we were wet by terrible rain. They brought dry towel immediately. Our room had water problem at that day so they looked for another and took us by taxi. The hotel which they reserved was nice. We felt this hotel chain was very gentle for guests. We would like to recommend this hotel to you very much.

Recommendation for the Golden Sun Palace Hotel
This is our second stay at the Golden Sun Palace. Both times have been most enjoyable the staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. The hotel location is central to most attractions. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast choices provided are very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. If you are looking to book or plan a trip while staying there the manager is most helpful. T is a pleasure to stay there.

The best location in Hanoi. While staying at the hotel, my family was able to go anywhere by walk. The location was the best to visit any place in Hanoi such as famous local restaurants and historical places.

Like: Good location, nice room, good breakfast and friendly staff. Areas for improvement: 1. Delux room was noisy as these are facing the main road. I was regularly woken up in the middle of the middle from speeding mopeds. 2. Unreliable airport transfer service. Had to wait half an hour for the pickup and countless calls to the hotel during the half hour wait went unanswered. Overall ok for the price paid.

Nice hotel in the heart of the city.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious with good bathroom facilities. Breakfast choices were varied. We have stayed in a few boutique hotels and this would rate as one of the best. Would certainly recommend it.
