"I hope this will get your attention: every time I tried to book this property for the night of that day. I tried several times, but it showed as "unavailable." So i booked another arrangement. But I received a confirmation in the middle of that night. I contacted the owners in the morning by phone and by email, but did not get a response. Same thing with Expedia. So I would like a refund, or a credit to stay there another day, as I am still in the area. I would appreciate a prompt response....

"Good"

Hakuba Gondola Hotel

4/10 Poor

"This "hotel" is one step above a hostel. It's basically a college dorm. The women's bathroom had 1 working toilet. Other 2 stalls said out of order. The beds were very uncomfortable and metal bed frames were very squeaky. 90% of the guests were under 25, at most. Two stars, 1 for breakfast was pretty good. 2 for location. "

"Hotel Keyaki no Ki offers a wonderful stay, supported by friendly and attentive staff who genuinely go out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. The hotel features an excellent buffet breakfast that caters to a wide range of tastes, as well as a relaxing public onsen that’s perfect for unwinding after a day out. In the basement, guests can enjoy a lively bar and games room equipped with a pool table and table tennis, adding an extra element of fun to the stay. While the hotel is a short walk from the main areas, convenient shuttle buses are available, making getting around easy. Overall, it’s a great value for the cost, and I would happily stay here again."

"For our visit to Japan we were seeking a traditional accommodation experience for our stay in the Hakuba valley. We were not disappointed with the 24 Sweets. From the shikibuton beds, tatami mats and in house onsen, we really got to experience the traditional experience. The ski locker and boot room was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. If you are seeking this experience we highly recommend. "
