"OMG! Magnificent views! This house is private and quiet with panoramic views that don’t even look real. It’s a clean, comfortable little retreat only a few min drive to the Spit. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the water, mountains, sunsets and soaring eagles everyday. Make sure you visit the Kachemak oyster bar, Boatyard Cafe and Salty Dawg Saloon while in Homer. We are already looking forward to returning soon!"

Top Happy Valley Hotel Reviews

Aspen Suites Hotel Homer

10/10 Excellent

"This is place has become my go-to when I’m in Homer- I have stayed there multiple times over the years and it is consistently clean, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful."

Homer Inn and Spa

8/10 Good

"The property is beautiful and well maintained. The bathroom was spacious with a nice shower and the bed was very comfortable. It would be nice to have drawers to put clothes in and better space for hanging items. I also didn't realize that the hot tub has to be reserved and can only be used when the spa is open. The Continental breakfast consisted of granola bars, packets of oatmeal and fruit cups. Each guest gets to choose one item, so it's not much of a breakfast."

The Moosetide Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely loved my stay at the Moosetide hotel. Cheyenne is an amazing and personable owner and made sure that I had all that I needed. She truly cares about your stay and is available for questions should you have them. I love the personable touches too. She has printed out what restaurants are good, stops, restaurants, beaches to visit and much more. I will definitely stay here again should I be back in Homer. The beds are actually comfortable and for me that is a big deal."

Driftwood Inn and Seaside Lodges

10/10 Excellent

"Helpful staff, super nice and great property was clean. Room was super small and the communal bathroom leaves a little to be desired. Staff 👍 cleanly property and view amazing 👍 amenities/bathroom sharing and smallest hotel room Ive ever been in....for over $100 a night I expect a little more👎"

Glacier View Getaway on the Kilcher Family Homestead in Alaska the Last Frontier

"This property was absolute perfect for our anniversary celebration. We had a beautiful walk to the beach - quite the hike back up - and the views were nothing short of spectacular. We can’t wait to come back again!"
