"Lovely restaurant staff Gross experience ,roll away bed smelled so bad"

"The hotel is under some kind of construction along with the restaurant. "

"The hotel felt safe and the staff were lovely. The hotel does show it's age in some areas. You could tell the rooms had been repainted although there were paint splotched dried all around the room on the floor. Baseboard in the bathroom was broken and the missing spaces were a collection spot for dirt and debris. Besides the showing age, the rooms and hotels were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, patio, and sitting areas in the lobby. It was a nice place to relax with the other people traveling with us. "

"Stayed in Houston to visit some family. Clean and spacious room. It’s an odd location, however, and appears to just be close to hospitals (my fault as I didn’t really look into this). Not a great spot if you want to do any sightseeing or something touristy so would keep that in mind. Was a bit blindsided by the $50/night valet charge—no real other options for parking so would add that to your daily rate. "

"Room was not cleaned and very misleading on the number of sleepers. Not sure how more than one is supposed to be able to fit on the pull out sleeper. "

"I usually don’t do reviews, but this was such a great stay. I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was super friendly and the hotel was very clean and nice. I will definitely stay again."

"My stay at the Kompost was unfortunately a bit mixed. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find a roach in the room, and there were some unusual droppings in one of the drawers, which raised concerns about cleanliness. That said, there were definitely some positives—the breakfast was great, the bedding was comfortable, and I slept very well. The staff was also friendly and attentive, making sure my needs were taken care of throughout my stay."
