「Hotel is going through an ownership transition. I asked for a quiet room and was placed in a very quiet corner of the hotel. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was very good. Some areas looked tired, but as the hotel has recently changed ownership, I'll let that slide. Service was very good. Keep up the good work 」

「Excellent junior suite. Newly built. Excellent restaurant and breakfast, free parking. The hotel is a 20 min walk from the centre of Sherborne. We will stay at the hotel again when travelling through Dorset. Highly recommend.」

「Was pleasant. Whilst by a busyish road, restaurant and bar at rear overlooking river with wildlife which was pleasant. Restaurant had a brief but competent menu, with several vegetarian/ vegan options. Very friendly staff. Room was small in terms of floorspace but otherwise perfectly comfortable with bath and good sized bed. Cooked buffet breakfast. Felt modern overall. Would be happy to stay again 」
