“We loved our ski holiday at Hotel Takimoto. The all inclusive plan was great - so much included. Meals and drinks were great and plentiful, rooms were comfy, skis and boots were good quality, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent central location with easy access to the extensive Shiga Kogen ski area. A bonus was being able to ski back to the front door. Rooms were a little warm as we had to keep them shut to deter monkeys. Would suggest a portable fan be……

“The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! And the food was amazing and a wonderful experience. We had 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners and they were all……

“非常有味道的老酒店，女子泡汤在三楼，每天滑雪完毕直接到隔壁泡温泉很方便，从长野车站坐大巴到Sunvelly很容易，但是下车要走一段路门口就游览车，可以开始滑雪！入住酒店建议选择早晚两餐，晚餐是传统的日式料理，我们这次住了五个晚上，每餐都有不一样的内容，非常开心，吃的很舒服！”

“I came to shiga kogen for skiing. The hotel location is excellent. You can have either 3 mins driving to Yokoteyama ski area or 5 mins driving to central area. Other than the location, all staff are very polite, patient and helpful. Some of the staff are able to communicate in English and Cantonese fluently. “A poor maintained onsen hotel! No towel and locker available in the onsen, need to bring along everything from the room! The room itself is very old and poor maintained; the dining which is just fair, don’t expect that as same kind of Food and beverage to a graded resort; fortunately a Taiwanese lady serving down there with excellent service to pull the satisfaction up a bit! ”

“There was one guy and a lady worked at the reception during my stay. The lady was very helpful and provide good Japanese service. However, the guy was not polite at all and sounds like a police when he asked us not to bring our food from breakfast to outside coffee area. This is our first time encounter impolite Japanese service. Besides he said he did not know there was a New Year Eve fireworks at Ichinose family run. At last, we have to google and check it out ourselves but how could a hotel……

“从日本回来一周了，回来就开始忙天忙地的工作，直到前两天收到simaya的含有我们当时拍的照片的邮件。 这是第二次去日本 第一次去的北海道 这一次日本之旅最有感触的也还是在汤田中和旅店老板的相处。 我和老公日语英语都不会， 真的要谢谢老板不厌其烦的一直变换不同方式和我们交流， 环境满分， 很传统的日式旅店， 我觉得挺宽敞（相对于日本各种10多平方的酒店） 位置离温泉街大概500米，走路要十分钟。 附近有全家，也有居酒屋这些，但比较少。 嗯...早上老板送了我们去看雪猴， 但其实我本身就是乐山人，峨眉山有很多猴子拉， 去了后猴子没有出来，老板来接到我们后说猴子出来了，让我们去看，但确实是因为我们语言不太通啊哈哈， 没有交流的太顺畅， 老板只好把我们载回旅店，拿着地图再告诉我们：猴子出来了， 你们一定要去看，很棒的。 这又再把我们送过去，（门票可以一天多次进出） 确实也不枉此行， 雪猴很温顺可爱， 也很多， 比峨眉山的温顺多了，值得一去，……

“(1月中入住)酒店位置不錯, 行路到車站只須10分鐘內, 車站附近有不少食店. 店家有車站接送服務, 如店家有時間, 也可來回接送到猿猴公園(車站也有巴士). 但車只到公園門口, 要步行30分鐘入內, 途中很濕和很多猴子便便, 酒店免費借防冼鞋, 記得問酒店借.此酒店雖有點古舊, 但也算整潔乾淨.客房位於2樓和3樓, 沒有電梯. 店家兒子見我一個女生, 也主動幫忙拿行李到房. check out時因預約了接送服務, 店家也提前到房間門口等待, 目的是幫忙拿行李下樓, 很讚! 沖涼和免費私人溫泉在地下, 風呂是先到先得, 但 沒有鎖, 只能掛"使用中"的牌子, 一個女生不適合使用.猿猴公園泊車附近有露天和室內溫泉, 車站也有室內溫泉, 可以一試. 房間暖氣足夠, 但走廊沒有, 沖涼回房或晚上到走廊去洗手間會有點寒冷.(每層走廊也有洗手間). 整體來說, 此酒店性價比高, 下次來這裡還是會入住.”
