「The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! 「I came to shiga kogen for skiing. The hotel location is excellent. You can have either 3 mins driving to Yokoteyama ski area or 5 mins driving to central area. Other than the location, all staff are very polite, patient and helpful. Some of the staff are able to communicate in English and Cantonese fluently. 「お部屋にトイレがない、は古い建物でしょうが、全体的に隅々まで、よくお掃除されているようで気持ち良く過ごせました。 近くの池のホタルも華麗でした。」

「(1月中入住)酒店位置不錯, 行路到車站只須10分鐘內, 車站附近有不少食店. 店家有車站接送服務, 如店家有時間, 也可來回接送到猿猴公園(車站也有巴士). 但車只到公園門口, 要步行30分鐘入內, 途中很濕和很多猴子便便, 酒店免費借防冼鞋, 記得問酒店借.此酒店雖有點古舊, 但也算整潔乾淨.客房位於2樓和3樓, 沒有電梯. 店家兒子見我一個女生, 也主動幫忙拿行李到房. check out時因預約了接送服務, 店家也提前到房間門口等待, 目的是幫忙拿行李下樓, 很讚! 沖涼和免費私人溫泉在地下, 風呂是先到先得, 但 沒有鎖, 只能掛"使用中"的牌子, 一個女生不適合使用.猿猴公園泊車附近有露天和室內溫泉, 車站也有室內溫泉, 可以一試. 房間暖氣足夠, 但走廊沒有, 沖涼回房或晚上到走廊去洗手間會有點寒冷.(每層走廊也有洗手間). 整體來說, 此酒店性價比高, 下次來這裡還是會入住.」
