"We were already in Placencia, but wanted to extend our stay and try a rental apartment rather than a hotel. Vacasa made the whole process super simple and efficient. Once in they responded immediately to any issues (shout out to Kaprie who was superb). The apartment is spacious and comfortable and steps from the water. 3 restaurants within walking distance, for anything else you will need transportation."

"Ray Caye Island Resort was a little slice of heaven for us! My husband and I went for our 30th anniversary and stayed in the honeymoon suite l, which I would highly recommend for its privacy and amazing view. We had our own private splash pool, and we were steps away from reclining by the ocean. The staff went above and beyond to take care of us during our stay. The drinks and food were delish! The excursions were awesome! The best snorkeling I have ever experienced, and the fishing was so fun, including catching a record size barracuda! We could socialize as much as we wanted but also have alone time. This was definitely a five-star experience and worth every penny! Next time we're bringing friends and family!"

"Absolutely a beautiful property and AS ADVERTISED! The location is key- close enough to many great restaurants and bars but far enough for the seclusion we desired for our honeymoon. We used it all: kayaks, paddle boards, bikes and all were in good working order. This house really was everything you need in Placencia. Kitchen is fully equipped. We had an in-home chef make a meal one night and they were able to do it all without needing to bring anything but the food. The AC blows cold, deck views are amazing, and bonus of having a smart TV helped with our quiet nights listening to the rain. This house has it all. I would stay again without question. It’s the best place to stay in Placencia, especially for the price and location. In fact we drove by two other properties we had considered to compare and were SO GLAD we went with this home. "
