Very interesting place. Unassuming on 39th Street but reasonably priced and quite a large room. Very charming with a lot of character and history. The bar was great.

We stayed in Room 408 for three nights. The bed linens were nice, and the room was cozy, as expected. However, the bathroom was so small it was difficult to turn around in, and the water pressure was poor. It was also hard to adjust the water temperature. For a hotel describing itself as “luxury,” we were also surprised there was no minibar, coffee machine, or refrigerator. At around $700 per night, we expected these basic amenities to be included. We’ll look for other options next time for better room maintenance status.
