"This property is stunning! The house is beautiful and very clean. It’s stocked with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable, the towels are soft and the kitchen dishes are top quality. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the lake is beautiful. The homeowner has thought of every detail, being intentional where others aren’t and it shows. We will be back to visit! PS. Katie was fantastic! She worked hard to get the hot tub fixed for us to enjoy, gave us the best recommendations for hikes and dining and was very pleasant to work with."

"We had the best stay at The Happy Place. We were amazed by how homie it felt. It did not feel like a rental! It was stocked with absolutely everything we needed and more. It was clean, comfortable, and we used the kitchen a lot! Thank you all the extra amenities. We also loved watching the deer in the woods everyday we were there! I highly recommend!"

"The house is a little off the beaten path, but we came here to enjoy nature, so it was not a problem for us. Great property if you’re traveling with dogs. Nice fenced in area right off the kitchen door! Clean house, fully stocked and well taken care of! We hiked Dupont & Pisgah and explored the local towns. Geraldine is easy to communicate with and she leaves nothing to guess about. She gives all the info you need to make it a smooth stay!"

"This was our 3rd stay at Spotted Rock. We utilized the private lake almost everyday, this year which we opted out of on previous stays. We caught sooooo many fish and had such a great time. The weather was wonderful. We had fires in the fireplace almost every night and enjoyed the hot tub once or twice. We were thankful for the Wi-Fi because we were able to watch our Buckeyes play on game day. We're ready to plan our next stay, next fall. "

"If you like log homes you will love this large cabin. It was charming and backed up to a stream and wooded area where a deer and its fawn frequented during our visit. Connestee Falls is a great community. We love the hiking trails especially the ones that take you to the falls."
