The White Lion is a very quaint, cozy hotel. Our room was beautiful. Comfortable and clean. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both were delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

A little gem in the heart of Hebden Bridge. From the moment we arrived, the staff were polite and helpful. As vegans, it was lovely to have oat milk included as standard with the tea and coffee items in our room, and the vegan breakfast was lovely. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We will definitely return.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the Red Lion Hotel, the room and bathroom were kept very clean with plenty of toiletries and towels, tea, coffee and biscuits, the food in the evenings was excellent as well, staff were very professional and friendly at breakfast and during the day/evening, we would definitely recommend and will stay there again.

Very stylish and comfortable room, from which we could (just) hear the babbling brook out back. The breakfast was excellent. My only complaint was that the mattress, while supremely comfortable, had less than optimal edge support. As a result, I kept feeling like I was going to roll out of bed.

We had Heritage Room 4 for a two night stay. Very spacious room and large ensuite. Lots of windows, so lots of fresh air and light. Very clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant were of a very high standard too. Friendly/polite staff, good range of drinks options and the food was superb. Absolutely recommend this venue for a stay.

I liked the hotel, the staff were absolutely delightful always very helpful. The breakfasts and suppers were also good. My issue is with the cleanliness of the place. Our bedroom was not vacuumed the entire time we stayed there and the corners in the bathroom were left to gather dust. I would suggest the management properly trained their charming temporary staff before putting them to work. The hotel is well situated in the town centre the close to all shops and restaurants.
