"I was charged for an extra adult as an only traveler. I did get refunded when morning staff arrived. My first room had no remote control so when s t aff came to room to help look i found used condom wrappers behind the endtable. Second room ad remote but needed to be reset by maintenance. Shower had bar soap residue gooked to the shelf. Hairs stuck to walls of shower. No bugs. Linen clean. A/C worked. "

"This property is NOT IHG quality! Pros: Walkable location for downtown New London events, fairly clean, spotty customer service. Cons: This property is SEVERELY outdated and VERY overpriced. Bathroom looked like a hospital bathroom with ZERO updates to the room. The price charged ($405.95) is OUTRAGEOUS. The property definitely changes room rates based on demand and events int the area. This felt almost criminal. We do NOT recommend this property and will avoid IHG hotels due to this lack of quality control. "

"We enjoyed our time at the property, it was clean and well run and we are certainly grateful to the host, who was lovely to us in our few interactions. We treated each other with respect, which is at the end what we expect. This said, it was jarring to drive up and find very maga-coded political and religious banners, even those often associated with undemocratic and racist ideologies, hung up that were not part of any listing photo. It may be the hosts see it differently and we certainly believe in everyone’s right to free speech and to worship as suits their conscience. But, it felt rather uncomfortable for us as guests to learn only after arriving AND after our non refundable fee was taken. We considered attempting to cancel anyway as my wife felt both offended and unsafe right away. I would humbly recommend that the hosts make only one change: to better advertise their political and evangelical beliefs in their listing photos - to avoid surprise and to attract only the clientele they wish to host. This would further allow those potential guests who are uncomfortable to make choices in line with their own beliefs and express their own free speech rights without feeling offended, unsafe, or regretting their purchase. It would be great to get back to the time when we were all Americans offering hospitality to all guests regardless of who they voted for or how they worship, but if that’s not how you believe, then we ask that hosts to be clear and upfront about it. "

"Love this place! Clean and considerate. Not your average hotel experience, but better! William is a kind and detail oriented host. They keep everything extremely clean!"

"Parking was easy in the lot right next to the building and our host William was great! He even got me an iron within 5 minutes when I was in a time crunch to get out to a reunion dinner that I was in town for. It was an easy 5 minute drive into downtown new London too. The ferry terminal to Fishers Island and Block Island is right there. Thanks William!"
