“Nice place to stay while TDY”

“Great location on the river.”

“The place is very clean and welcoming. Plenty of materials from the bathroom to the kitchen. The only thing is the ceiling for the loft. I hit my head quite a few times. But overall it is so nice.”

“Quite”

“Newly renovated basement apartment”

“It was a really nice room for a couple. even tho it pretty much rained the whole day, it was nice to sit outside and look at the water. definitely recommend!”

“DO NOT BOOK THIS! Arrived at the address to find a half demolished building, grass around the property unkept & taller than me, broken furniture in the parking lot. Looks like it’s been abandoned for years.”

“We had a wonderful two-day stay at this lovely lakeside home. The location is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. Waking up to the view of the lake was such a treat. The house itself is clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt like a perfect little retreat. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and unwind!”

“Very unique, very cool cabin. Communication was great. Water was hot, a/c was cold and there was nothing I needed that I did not find. Check in and out was a breeze. I will stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. Had a great time.”

“I'll start with the positives:1. The pictures online match what you see when you walk in. Nice looking place even though it's older. We are a family of six, and we were able to make the space work for us just fine.2. AC works great.3. Water pressure in the shower is really good and toilets flush well.4. Bath towels were nice.5. Overall, the place appeared to be clean.6. The appliances were clean and some even appeared to be pretty new. (Dishwasher excepted - see below)The negatives:1. There……

“This is a great little cabin. It's close to the lake and marina. Clean and well-maintained property.”

“Finally got some rest after a long drive. The bed was good, not too soft or hard, just right for a tired traveler like me.”

“Only bumpy portion of the stay was a misstep with the code to get in. I made contact through the app and the issue was solved quickly. I would stay again.”

“Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here! The space was clean and updated and offered a large well kept backyard with a covered porch. The upstairs loft is perfect for kids. Definitely recommend staying here if you find yourself in Slocomb! We will be coming back!”
