The Lodge was very clean and comfortable.

The Lodge was very clean and comfortable. It was out of Hexham but only a short drive away. The views were spectacular, as it wasn't a race day, it was very quiet. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped but the pans seemed old and badly scratched, there were no scissors or fish slice. Both of which I provided. The larger shower room needs a rubber mat in the shower, the base is very smooth and slippery when wet.On the whole we enjoyed our stay, and would stay again. Good value for money.
