“This is a lovely little Inn right next to the river. They serve a nice breakfast and I really enjoyed the cozy sitting area in the lobby with a fire. It Was very peaceful UNTIL my last night when the Fire Alarm went off 3 Times !! 7pm, 9:30pm & 11:40pm..... there was no fire. It was a surprise to the staff as well as the guests and went on for a very long time. I spoke to the front guest on check out about some kind of compensation for this Major disruption. I was told my number would be given……

“Parking with a truck and snowmobile trailer was horrible. I called the hotel in advance before booking and asked about parking. I was told they have bus and truck.trailer parking on site. This was NOT true! The lot is small and there were 10 abandoned cars also taking up spots making matters worse. If the person would have tols the truth I would never have stayed here! The hotel itself is worn out and well used. The front staff were all rude and one guy was only interested in watching his……

The decor is old world opulence and, from a visitor’s point of view, this spa / hotel has everything you need- as well as everything you never knew you needed. The aromatherapy room, the billiard room, the parlour, aperitivo hour, the impeccable service, the cleanliness of the well appointed rooms, dual hot tubs… I could go on and on. Every aspect of your stay just feels……

“Hotel room was in bad condition, restroom had the enire floor coming up due to water damage, TV had no remote, no hair dryer, no iron. Sheets where clean but the room was nasty. Will never stay here again, my car is cleaner.”
