Beautiful house and pool area. Only improvement would be the ceiling fans. The one in the den had dust hanging on the blades and the one by the pool didn’t work (or at least we couldn’t figure it out). Otherwise it was wonderful!

Great Location

The house was spacious and a great location! It was a close walk to the beach and a close drive to go to either the north or south ends of the island. A little bummed that the game room stuff did not exist and the pool/outdoor area was not as functional as the online pictures appeared. Overall it was great for our large group and due to the perfect location, I would go back.

Mojito Splash

Beautiful house with an amazing private pool! Beach was a short walk away, we rented golf carts but not necessary at AMI, will not rent carts in the future. The house was by far the cleanest house we have ever rented. Absolutely beautiful and we will be back!

Family fun

Our family came and went for most of our stay and they loved the pool,hot tub, ping pong table etc. plenty of comfy beds. Just wish there were more essentials to staying for 2 weeks like a swiffer and some cleaning supplies

Wonderful pool

House was very clean, probably the cleanest we've ever stayed in! Pool was great. Kids loved it the best, the whole stay. It was a great thing it was so nice, because there was, unfortunately, a flood of what seemed to be raw sewage running/pooling in the street blocking any walking access to the beach. While we can't say for sure it was raw sewage it sure smelled bad and was leaking out of pipes and bags randomly laying on the road. While we understand that this was a failure of the public service department, and not the home, it still affected our ability to go to the beach as we would have liked renting a house so close to the beach. Also, minor items such as; back door did not latch well, broken lamp in one bedroom, long-running toilet cycle and shower door did not have enough clearance to close properly in upper master bedroom. None of the minor items were really that big of a deal. If it wasn't for the sewage we probably would have given the house 5-stars.

Great accommodations

We originally had 8 adults, and ended up with 10. The space was great for 10, and the house was stocked with everything we needed to start a great week on the island. The house was clean, and the pool area was great for family gatherings.

Perfect for family / close walk to beach access

The property was clean. Much better than most vacation rentals in busy season. The layout of the house was perfect for our age group. Would not recommend to people who may have issues with stairs because there is no way around steps. It would have been nice to have some inside entrance rugs but understand since it is a pet friendly home. All in all, the home was well stocked for cooking, lots of linens were left for our use such as pool towels, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and cloth bath rugs. There as beach chairs- 5 total and a fold up beach wagon for our use. These items appeared new and well kept. Thank you for a great stay!!

2nd time at Mojito Splash

We love everything about this house. Our 1st stay, 2 years ago, the place was spotless and the only issue was the bbq grill, which was fixed right away. This time, the furnishing were worn. The pool was dirty and the pool vacuum was broken. There was little effort to fix/clean pool. On the last full day I complained again and someone came out and skimmed the dead leaves out, checked the pH, cleaned out the filters and added chlorine. The trees also need a good trim!

The location was an easy 2 block walk to the Beach and has a fantastic outside gathering area around the pool. The home was roomy and easily accommodated our group of 8. Nice Property and neighborhood!

Great vacation

We stayed at Mojito Splash... Very nice, well stocked kitchen. Great pool and outdoor area but That block must sit in lowest area on island because the outdoor kitchen area flooded daily with smallest amount of rain., but drained pretty fast...The couple of large rains made it unusable for hours tho, but couldn’t be helped...2.5 blocks to the beach.,close Enough to shops for golf cart ride...Holmes Beach is beautiful..Several things need some attention which I am sure they will take care of soon, but nothing to ruin our vacation over. AMI Rentals always quick to respond. We had a great time!

Great vacation home!

This home was perfect for us! We had 8 adults, and there was plenty of room. The kitchen was well-appointed, there was seating for everyone inside and out, plenty of towels, nice decor, great neighborhood, and walking distance to the beach. The pool and hot tub were great! We had no issues and have no complaints about this home.

Wonderful family vacation spot!

We had an absolutley wonderful time! The house was spacious and we had everything we needed for 7 adults and 1 baby including plenty of bath towels and beach towels for each person! There was also a pack n play in the closet that we were not expecting! The house had pool floats and games as well as several floats for our infant! We were pleasantly surprised with all of the beach equipment. 6 chairs and a beach wagon plus baskets of beach toys were provided in the garage. Speaking of the beach...it was just a short 2 block's straight shot down the street! The pool outback was nice. The only thing I'd like to mention is that the backyard is a bit overgrown with trees. The pool and deck are covered with shade for almost the whole day. During our stay we had a small issue with a broken coffee pot and they had it resolved by that afternoon! The location of the house makes it a slam dunk. We would definitely return!

Great house!

This house was perfect for our annual family vacation. It’s housed 8 people perfectly. Spacious kitchen and plenty of seating. Easy access to the beach and nearby restaurants. My family spent many nights playing ping pong! The only things that could of been better were the foliage around the pool needs to be thinned out a little. It’s very lush and green but allows zero sun in. Better instructions for the pool. It had a remote for the hot tub which was fine but the timer lights for the pool didn’t seem to be working. Also the area rug in the living room is filthy and needs to be replaced or professionally cleaned. Overall these things weren’t deal breakers. The house was great and I would stay here again.

Nice but better options available

Anna Maria island is a beautiful destination (been multiple times now) and this house is located only a few minutes walk from the beach and 10min from shops/restaurants so pretty good location (that being said, pretty much everything is few min from the beach because of the shape of the island so you can’t really go wrong). We had a string of issues which is why I’m giving 2 stars (we selected on basis of good ratings so don’t want others to have same issue we did)... the living room rug was filthy (nail clippings and debris), dishwasher wasn’t working, arcade/game machine from the pictures was stored away with “out of order” on it, bbq didn’t work, one of the pool lights didn’t work, and worst of all the garden was completely overgrown like a jungle and lots of dead leaves and berries in and around the pool and very little sun getting through. AMI then also incorrectly charged me 50% of the rent while I was there when all had been paid off months before which caused more headache! In all fairness AMI were pretty responsive (once I was able to get hold of them) and at one stage on day 3 we had dishwasher repair guy, general maintenance guy, 3 landscapers with chainsaws taking down trees (which helped a bit but still way overgrown), and pool cleaning guy all round within a few hours, but this was all reactive (and not what you want when you have 3 toddlers to look after) and in my mind could have been easily prevented if the house was better maintained in the first place. Disappointed that AMI rentals don’t keep a better check on the houses that they are renting out and hold them to a higher standard, but grateful that they at least fixed everything they could while we were there. Also disappointed that there was no follow-up from them to check in on us after the number of issues we had. The bedrooms are all lovely and clean so no complains there, but overall this house is tired and feels like it’s held together with string and paper clips and definitely misses that loved / charming feel that you get with other types of properties. The house is up for sale and I’m guessing the owner doesn’t want to spend any money on upkeep which is probably why the garden is such a mess. Bottom line - I will return to Anna Maria as we love it, I would even consider going through AMI again, but I wouldn’t stay at this house again (there were numerous houses on the same street that looked in better keep).

Perfect I’m every way.

The first thing we noticed was absolutely beautiful the home was inside, the garage had more than enough room for a vehicle and all of our beach gear we brought even though there was gear already at the house for our use. As we moved onto the back patio, it got even more impressive. Very secluded and the pool was beautiful. The tv outside allowed us to watch our teams play without having to miss out on the beautiful Florida weather. Absolutely perfect!! The beaches on the island are absolutely gorgeous and just a short walk from the house. The trolly bus ran late into the evening and allowed us to visit the fantastic local bars without having to drive. Everything about our stay was so very perfect. Will be planning this trip again for next year. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars!!

Great location in a spacious beautiful home!

This property is a very short walk just down the street to the beach. We rented bikes and rode our bikes around to shops and restaurants in the area which was really fun. The whole area was nice and clean and the home is even prettier in person.

Perfect week at Mojito Splash!

The house is gorgeous and perfect for three separate families. It was super clean, well-kept, and had an awesome location to the beach. The pool was a dream temperature-wise and we enjoyed it every single day. Absolutely no complaints at all. Andrea was so easy to communicate with throughout the whole process - the months leading up to our vacation and during our stay. We definitely only want to stay in houses owned by her when we return to the island - which will be every single year now!

Awesome vacation home

We had a great time staying at Mojito splash. We had 6 adults and 6 kids with us and the house had plenty of space for us all to stay comfortably! We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the home. There’s plenty of beach supplies and pool toys, which the kids loved! Nice short walk to the beach. I would definitely stay here again!

Mojito Splash!! Wonderful Property & Awesome Location!!!

What a fantastic property with all the makings for a great vacation. All you need to do is get there and let the vacation fun begin. We had five family members plus our dogs and everyone really enjoyed our week stay at Mojito Splash. The only downside is that one week was too short, so we would love to stay two weeks next time if at all possible. The house and outdoor area were even better than expected. The house was spacious and clean upon arrival and very welcoming. The property manager we worked with was very responsive before our booking, during the booking process, and upon arrival. We know if we needed anything during our stay we would have been well taken care of by Andrea. Not to mention how thorough the information was on the property access and basic operational info (very well done). The pool area and outdoor space was perfect for our group and we enjoyed the pool daily. It was a hit with everyone for sure. The hot tub was fun too. We cooked and grilled and the kitchen was well appointed. You are a short walk to a very nice beach access. There are some beach chairs and pool items available for use and that is really handy. The location is in a great part of the island and the house is close to trolley stops. Looking forward to our visit to AMI and hopefully Mojito Splash.
