"The cabin in the woods was so very cozy. Just our style! The vista park was very convenient and clean. Made it adventure perfect. We used it car to transport it paddleboard with no problem. Just wish we had more time. Plan to come back."

"If you are looking for something off the beaten path, this is definitely the place. Location right on river lends to quiet nights and relaxation. We saw a lot of wildlife during our stay. The driveway is a 1.2 mile one lane dirt road so prepare accordingly—thankfully we have a truck! "

We brought our boat and it was a little tough with the tidal changes but we made it work. The canoe provided was the better was to explore and we added our trolling motor. "My husband and I had a wonderful time staying here! The cabin was very clean and cozy and we loved the outside space! We brought a small boat and were able to put it right in the water. The location was also conveniently located to launch on Rainbow a river as well. We couldn’t be more pleased and will likely stay here again!"

"Quiet spot not too far from Homosassa and Crystal River. 4 friendly dogs on the property that are within the fenced in area of the Southwest Cottage. There is another cottage/rental on the property but it across the property past the horse barn (the 2 horses love carrots) and not visible from the Southwest Cottage. Host lives on the property and was friendly and quickly responded to questions and any issues.Clean, simple accommodations for two people, would stay again."

Perfect location

"This house is a lot of fun. Lots of space, right on the water, perfect for a large group of people. There are lots of kayaks and stand-up paddle boards to use. Grill, and pool table. There is a large yard, we were able to play some yard games, and a fire pit. Lots of stores near by for food and drinks. The house was nice and clean. There are plenty of towels. All you need for the kitchen as far as cooking supplies (pots, pans, utensils, etc). If you are not familiar with the area, please do your research, we went to the state part with floats, and they are not allowed. There are lots of rules on the Rainbow River. We brought the kyacks and paddle boards to the beginning of the river and took it all the way to the house, it took 3 hours going with the current. It was an amazing experience and lots of wildlife. I highly recommend this house. We had an amazing time. "

Nice clean place friendly staff

"Large spacious rooms, set up more as long term stay. Full size fridge 2 element electric stove top, microwave plenty of drawer and closet space. Only downside was I was only staying 1 night and they don't have an Ice machine cause they expect you to make it in the freezer in the trays provided. Front desk staff helped out by giving me a bit from their freezer. "
