“Maya Heights resort is one of Belize's best kept secrets. It's tucked away upon a hill with the greatest scenery. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a great stay, the restaurant experience was superior, great food and service. It was my second visit and my birthday celebration trip. “The cabin was just as described. Well cared for by the care-takers Antonio and Dena. There were a lot of birds, and we saw Red-Lored Amazons among many others. Being near the river, and in a fairly dense forested area, there were mosquitoes and no-seeums. The large screened porch was a great place to enjoy the wildlife. A good BBQ was provided, the cabin was very large, and the a/c worked very well. All in all, a great stay. Recommend.”

“Julia’s Cabanas was a convenient spot, located on the beach and near lots of small shops, bars, and restaurants. We loved the ocean view and the spent many days in the hammock on the porch. Shelly and Ty were very friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. “Excellent place, new,fresh, clean, stylish. Up on stilts so you get a nice breeze. Just as pics appeared. Only real concern is that the driveway is sandy and taxis got stuck repeatedly. Just needs some gravel. Had a little trouble contacting the property manager to work out an early check in but staff were friendly and helpful.”

“I had the most amazing time. The house was absolutely beautiful. The woodwork (repurposed wood) created a very comfortable and chill vibe. The house was fully loaded and spacious. The view was unbelieveable anytime you looked at it. It was very quiet and really nice to escape the day to day things that go on. I was able to just shut off…but still had wi-fi :). Everything was within walking distance, the people were so friendly, people crossing on the side walk or anywhere would great you……
