"Very close (walking distance if not raining) to the old city - allow a good day to cover it all, and this is one of the least commercialised water-towns accessible from Suzhou or Shanghai, but not much else to do there unless you're at a conference etc. that the hotel caters for. Good, comfortable, clean working room with full amenities, nice view of the lake, very good local arts shop in the lobby. "There is a bakery on the first floor of the lobby which was very convenient for early mornings. There was a washer dryer but the drying takes 3 hours and it's not very sanitary because other people were able to put their laundry together with our laundry. The bathroom facilities were good and so was the bedroom. The staff were really helpful and assisted us with every question we had. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."
