excellent for kids, the hotel is huge and the facilities very good, many pools, restaurants and fantastic activities. The only negative is the restaurant staff seems to be under heavy pressure and is sometimes very rude

First of all i want to thank you Columbus Cafe workers. They were great and kind. But other guys (specialy reception) are not nice. They dont helping you. There is an information about Shuttle to Airport. But there is no any shuttle bus. They sending you a taxi guide directly. And be ready to pay euros. Every workers asking “where are you from?” and then they wants same thing. It was like a tipday. An advice; if you want to buy something for gifts, go to Cleopatra Bazar. They are so kind and not disturbing you. P.S: Uber is not working. Dont use it. Keep EGP and bargain everytime! It was my first vacation in Egypt, but im sure its last!

Den värsta vistelse jag någonsin upplevt

Fick byta rum 5 gånger vi incheckning pga smutsigt, röklukt, ofräscht, trasigt. Efter två dagar valde vi att byta hotell. Maten är smaklös, personalen är inte serviceminded, massagen är urusel, min fru blev tillsagd att byta om framför en man vilket känns långt ifrån okej. Jag kan inte rekommendera detta hotell överhuvudtaget!

Alles soweit in Ordnung. Die Zimmer sind sauber und groß. Der Strand ist super mit einem tollen Bedienservice. Das Essen könnte qualitativ und in der Auswahl etwas besser sein. Zudem wiederholt sich das Essen jeden Tag.

Tolle Anlage das Dana Beach Resort

Sehr schöne Anlage alle sind sehr bemüht.. das einzige was ich vermisse ist ein wenig Vegane Alternativen und Milch Alternativen wie Soja Milch /Joghurt oder Hafer Milch oder auch einfach nur Margarine.. Es gibt in allen 7 Restaurants nur Butter. Das Essen ist sehr Fleischlastig

Gepflegtes Hotel mit schlechter Gastronomie

Positiv: - Gepflegte, riesige Hotelanlage mit vielen Möglichkeiten - Zimmer und Hotel sauber und in guten Zustand - Personal in Restaurants freundlich und hilfsbereit Negativ (ev. aufgrund Covid-19): - Essensangebot und -qualität war weit unterdurchschnittlich und ist einem 5-Sterne Resort bei weitem nicht würdig. Einige Gäste sind deswegen wieder abgereist. - Zimmerreinigung nur alle 2 Tage - Personal aufdringlich mit Zusatzverkäufen für SPA oder Wassersport - WiFi funktionierte im Zimmer nicht und wurde auch nach mehrmaliger Aufforderung nicht behoben. Verbindung generell sehr schlecht und langsam - Trotz weniger Gäste Strand überfüllt mit Liegen - Achtung Baustelle bei Block 2000 - Diverse Restaurants geschlossen (u.a. Asiatique) - Jeder Abend gleiche Musik

Great hotel for kids

Staff really paid attention to my little boy making him laugh and smile making it a very relaxed place to be when you are on your own with a little one. Children's pool is fantastic with lifeguards on duty. A mini disco and show each evening was fun for all too.

bad food and beverages

we dint enjoy our stay in this hotel..the most bad experience was the food and beverages is horrible..its not eveb call a 5 star and we ask them to bring an iron and iron board they reply us that there is a charge for that..notice also the kitchen utencils is not like a 5 star..will never comeback again in this hotel..though the location is nice but a bad service.

Beautiful property but horrible service

Stayed for about a week. Originally booked a seaview superior room, when i got there one pf the staff that was helping us check in put us in a basic room that was facing some small garden. Went back to him and then he said, "oh sorry lets put you in the right place" and sure enough it wasnt, it was a lagoon view. The next day, we got to the breakfast buffet 15 min before closing, no waiter showed up to take our drink order, when i saw one and asked him for a coffee, he said "the coffee machine is there, we are closing in 10 min". A few similar incidents occurrd with the staff. Other than the terrible service, the place is 10 stars. Beautiful property right on the beach. Food was below average served in a total of 5 restaurants. Check out other places before booking this one.
